Situation:
The Low Impact Development Center was contracted by the EPA to introduce federal, state, and local transportation departments to the LID concept. The Center asked GKY to help them develop a course of instruction that combines a general overview with examples and strategies the departments could apply to linear projects.
Solution:
Using PowerPoint™, GKY developed a course that provides a graphic-rich overview on LID basics that could also serve as a reference for future development. This course has been used nationwide to ground transportation personnel in LID principles.
