GKY is skilled in analyses and presentation of wetland boundaries, allowing our clients to receive a prompt and accurate determination on their property.
We frequently prepare analyses of wetland features, using resources such as National Wetlands Inventory (NWI) maps, soils maps, and U.S. Geologic Survey (USGS) topographic maps. Our environmental staff is also available to perform site-specific delineations of the limits of wetlands and other U.S. waters that are subject to jurisdiction by the Corps of Engineers under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act.
To ensure a smooth process, we use the currently accepted method of the 1987 U. S. Army Corps of Engineers Wetland Delineation Manual to identify and delineate the boundaries of these jurisdictional areas. On behalf of our clients, GKY also presents our findings to the Corps to obtain their concurrence and a jurisdictional determination for the property.
